More Info
The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute is funded by the National Science Foundation and is sponsored by over 100 universities and research institutions. It draws mathematics scholars from around the world.
Our design for this 24,000 s.f. building was selected as the winning entry in an architectural competition conducted by the University of California, Berkeley to house the institute. It includes a library, commons areas, a lecture hall and seminar room, administrative offices, and 54 private offices for the members of the institute, all organized around a central atrium.
Glass Associates, Inc. has also completed a 22,000 s.f. project to expand the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, including a new auditorium, as well as alterations to the existing building.
